Egg Collection & Grading Team Member

We’re seeking a dedicated team member to join us in a permanent, part-time, year-round role focused on egg grading and collection. For someone with skills or interest in landscaping and general farm work, it could expand into a full-time position.
💲 Starting at $18/hour, with a performance review and wage discussion after 60 days.

Schedule & Availability
3-4 days per week (approx. 20–28 hours)
Required availability:
Egg collection: 2–4 hours twice a week, preferably on Fridays and Saturdays
1 weekend shift is required, if Fri/Sat doesn’t work we can discuss the option of doing Sundays instead
Egg grading: full 8-hour shifts on Mondays and Wednesdays
preference would be availability on both days, however we are open to discussion about just 1 day of grading each week
Flexibility for additional shifts and vacation coverage as needed
Responsibilities
Egg Grading
Clean, inspect, and package eggs with the grading team
Sanitize equipment and facilities thoroughly
Follow all CFIA policies and procedures
Egg Collection
Collect eggs using egg collection machinery in our three barns
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety while working independently
Perform general cleaning and maintenance in barns as required
Use a pallet jack to move stacks of eggs
Education & Requirements
Required:
High school diploma
Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to meet all availability requirements
Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
Comfortable working indoors and on weekends
Preferred:
Level 1 First Aid certification
Food Safe certificate
