Photo Contest Rules

1. Eligibility

• The contest is open to individuals 19+ at the time of entry.

• Photos must be any one of the following:

  • taken at Springford Farm, the Viewing Barn or Springford Farm Market

  • of any item purchased at Springford Farm Market (for example grillin’ up a smokie on the Q!)

• Employees of Springford Farm and their immediate family members may enter but are not eligible to win prizes.

2. How to Enter

• Complete the online submission form below and upload your photo.

• Each participant may submit up to 3 photos per month.

3. Photo Requirements

• Photos must be your own original work (AI generated and AI edited photos are ineligible).

• Photos must be one of the following accepted file types: .png, .jpg, .tiff, .heic

• Photos must be less than 10MB

• By submitting a photo, you confirm that you own the image or have permission from the photographer to submit it.

• Permission to photograph identifiable people and private property. If your photo submission contains an identifiable minor, you must include a Minor Model Release Form signed by the child’s parent or guardian.

• Consent, copyright liability, securement of necessary releases and privacy are the responsibility of the entrant.

• Photos must not contain offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate content.

4. Permission for Image Use

By entering the contest, you grant Springford Farm a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, and distribute your submitted photo(s) for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, our website, digital advertising, print materials, and future promotional campaigns, without further compensation (except where prohibited by law). By participating in the Contest, you agree to release Springford Farm and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, directors, officers, and agents from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. Whenever practical, Springford Farm will credit the photographer by name or social media handle.

5. Judging & Prizes

• Winners will be selected by the Springford Farm team based on creativity, quality, and how well the photo captures the spirit of Springford Farm.

• All judging decisions are final.

• Selected winners will be contacted using the information provided with their entry.

• In accordance with Canadian contest regulations, selected winners must correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing mathematical question before being declared the official winner and receiving their prize.

• Winners must collect their prize at a mutually agreed time at Springford Farm Market.

6. General

• Contest runs from July 30 2026 - January 1 2027.

• One winner will be selected each month for a total of five winners.

• Prizes are valued between $25-$50 per month.

• Springford Farm reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules.

• Springford Farm reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary.

• By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Official Contest Rules.
